ClearDB is a powerful, fault tolerant database-as-a-service in the cloud for your MySQL powered applications. It's designed around the premise of failure to ensure that your database is available and secure, no matter what. You know that the cloud can be a dangerous place when it comes to failure. With ClearDB, you can run your MySQL powered apps in the cloud with confidence, knowing that ClearDB will keep your database online, available and secure no matter what the Cloud does.
Our team of highly experienced database engineers and infrastructure experts have spent over 20 years working on the same problem: how to ensure that your database stays online no matter what. Many companies cannot afford to spend huge amounts of money on database hardware, software and personnel to manage it, not to mention scale that solution without going bankrupt. In fact, many internet companies experience this very problem first hand.
We created ClearDB to solve this very relevant problem. ClearDB is the result of over four years of focused research, development, engineering, questions, feedback, problems, solutions, and serious thought from the software engineering and business best practice segments of both the traditional and internet computing industry.
